About

We are here to help you reach your life changing finish line.

We empower triathletes and triathlon teams to distinguish themselves, elevate their performance, and contribute positively to their athletic lifestyle.

Our Story.

Since its inception in 2010, America Multi-Sport has been at the forefront of organizing premier endurance events around the country. But our experience goes back to the 90’s. Since then, we’ve had well over 10000 finishers. Of those finishers, hundreds have been trained locally by our founder, Steve Tomboni.

Our Mission.

We believe that many people want to get fit, but just don’t know where to start. Many jump into endurance sports, not realizing how much of a lifestyle transition it is – especially triathlons. If more athletes were guided into this journey many more would be successful in getting and staying fit.

Regardless of your experience, we want to make sure your path to fitness doesn’t fizzle out after your first event!

Meet Steve

Steve Tomboni is a certified race director and the founder and CEO of America Multi-Sport, Inc., a company that organizes and hosts sporting events for all levels of athletes.  He is the author of the 1996 ITU Long Course technical manual and was the recipient of the Edmund F. Ball Award for lifetime service to the Muncie Endurathon, Inc. His coaching has guided hundreds of athletes to triathlon excellence, whether they were starting out, competing at the elite level, or qualifying for world championships.

“Having been in the world of endurance sports as an athlete, a race director, and owner for 30 years, I’ve seen tons. I know what works, but more importantly, I know what doesn’t.

A common characteristic of successful athletes is their resilience and determination to achieve their objectives. Hard work is necessary, but not sufficient, to excel in any field. You also need to practice and perform with focus and precision. That said, you also want to make sure that the work you’re putting in translates to a successful event.

While I’ve worked with some of the fastest athletes in the world, I know that most people have busy lives and just don’t know where to start or how to stay on their fitness journey. One thing is for sure, they can’t spend hours and hours working out.  The idea of Life Changing Finish Lines is about the idea that anyone, regardless of experience, can achieve a certain level of fitness if they set their mind to it and do the disciplined work it takes to get there.

Our goal with this site is to give you the same mindset regardless of the event. This is the place where you can learn how to get fit and have fun, no matter what your starting point is. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you can find tips and tricks to help you train smarter, not harder.

Sounds good, right?

So go ahead and explore the site and let me know what you think. I hope our mindset will inspire you to dream big, find balance, and, most of all, reach your next Life Changing Finish Line.”
